3D Infographics: Render of La Sureda Cultural Center

Nowadays, we live in a society shaped by daily consumption, where the need for visual perception is ever-present. The modern consumer is constantly exposed to advertising images across all possible media, whether television, the internet, social media, and even radio. All of them use a unique channel that transports you into a cognitive imaginary where the consumer interacts with the desired product. The entire project is carried out from our render studio in Barcelona.

3D Infographics

This entire virtual market process is steadily taking over all everyday sectors. From shopping online to being able to visualize your future home before it has even been built. In the architectural market, there are several processes required to carry out a construction project, whether through private funding or by participating in a public competition. In both cases, the presentation of graphic documentation is essential. This documentation is submitted to city councils or the relevant public entities so they can evaluate and approve the project. All this technical information is always presented visually and is fully supported by explanatory renders that show how the project will integrate with its surroundings, also helping to illustrate how users will interact with it. Currently, architecture faculties teach how to develop these visual presentations and how to defend them before a panel, making use of 3D infographics.

The project: La Sureda Cultural Center

In this case, we are looking at the La Sureda Cultural Center, located in the small town of Palamós. An architectural project developed by a young architect from La Salle University, currently based in Berlin, Germany. This work involves urban planning for Palamós to create new circulation flows that lead to the town’s new cultural center. The project consists of several interconnected buildings organized around a large central square, where all kinds of activities for the community can take place. The goal of this cultural center is to provide sociocultural resources for people of all ages. The facilities will host a wide range of activities, from computer classes to a dance school, as well as a large amphitheater capable of accommodating the entire population for various events. This visual project was carried out because the young architect wanted to create several explanatory views of both the surroundings and the interior of the project. For this purpose, we agreed on producing four infographics: two exterior renders and two interior renders. In this case, the client had a very clear vision of the viewpoints, as they had previously conducted a volumetric study on their own. This greatly facilitated decision-making, allowing us to deliver a project that was fast, elegant, and visually appealing.
