We present one of the latest architectural visualization projects we have carried out at Behind Pictures: residential properties in Mallorca. We created a set of renders, both exterior and interior, with the aim of marketing the development before it is fully built. A very common approach among developers to sell properties alongside architectural plans. Defining the lighting to achieve realistic renders is one of the most important keys. Our goal in this project is for the client to understand the space of the homes and imagine what living there would be like, so we never manipulate lighting in a misleading way. For this reason, we consider the use of natural exterior light essential, as it highlights how bright and well-lit the apartments are. On the other hand, recessed LED lighting in the ceilings provides brighter spaces, adding warmth and a more vibrant atmosphere. In the bathroom, we chose to introduce variation by using different ceramics; the flooring and wall tiles follow the same style as the parquet in the rest of the house, while white marble complements the walls. Thanks to these renders, clients are able to understand and visualize all the spaces and the architectural project. The importance of good interior design is what defines and helps us achieve a more realistic result in our renders.
